Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the B-One Chiropractic website and the booking of any appointments or services with us. By using this website or booking an appointment, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.

We may update these Terms from time to time by posting changes to this page. Your continued use of the site or our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

About Us

B-One Chiropractic is operated by Ambrose Sung, a chiropractor registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC registration number: 05783) and a member of the United Chiropractic Association (UCA), based at 28 Oriel Chambers, F/2, 14 Water Street, Liverpool, L2 8TD. Chiropractic care in the UK is a regulated profession, and we're required to meet the standards set out in the GCC's Code of Practice.

Bookings and Appointments

Your first visit includes a full history, physical examination and your first treatment, and takes approximately 60 minutes. Follow-up sessions are approximately 30 minutes.

We treat patients under 18 with a parent or guardian present throughout the appointment. If you're booking for a minor, please let us know in advance so we can arrange this.

Cancellations and Missed Appointments

Cancellations and Missed Appointments

Your appointment time is reserved for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours' notice so the time can be offered to another patient.

  • More than 24 hours' notice: no charge.

  • Less than 24 hours' notice: a late cancellation fee of £25 applies.

  • Missed appointments: if you do not attend and have not contacted us beforehand, the full appointment fee is charged (£70 for an initial consultation, £55 for a follow-up session).

  • Late arrival: if you arrive late, your session may need to be shortened so the next patient is seen on time. The full fee still applies.

If you have pre-paid for a block of sessions, a missed appointment will be counted as one session used.

We understand that emergencies and illness happen. Fees may be waived at our discretion in genuine circumstances, so please get in touch as soon as you can.

Any outstanding fee must be paid before your next appointment.

Consent to Treatment

Chiropractic treatment involves hands-on, manual techniques, which may include spinal and joint adjustment, soft tissue therapy, and other methods discussed with you. Before any treatment begins, we'll explain what's involved, discuss the likely benefits and any relevant risks, and answer any questions you have. You'll be asked to give your consent before treatment starts, and you're free to decline or stop treatment at any point.

Results and Outcomes

Every patient responds differently to treatment, and we can't guarantee a specific outcome or timeframe for improvement. We'll always be honest with you about what we think treatment can realistically achieve, and if we believe another form of care or referral to a GP or specialist would serve you better, we'll tell you.

Not for Emergencies

Our service is not intended for medical emergencies. If you're experiencing a medical emergency, please call 999 or go to your nearest A&E. If you're unsure whether your symptoms need urgent attention, NHS 111 can advise.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of your appointment unless otherwise agreed. We accept card and cash. If you hold Medicash cover, we can provide an invoice for you to claim the cost back yourself.

Prices are available on request and may be updated from time to time; the price confirmed at the time of booking is the price that applies to that appointment.

Confidentiality and Your Information

Details from your appointments are kept as confidential clinical records in line with our obligations under UK data protection law and GCC guidance. Your information will not be shared with anyone else without your consent, except where required by law. You're entitled to request a copy of your records at any time. For full details on how we handle your data, please see our Privacy Policy.
